Chasing Cadence formed in early September 2011. Jumping head first into the studio mid-September they recorded their debut E.P. which was released early November the same year. Since then they have been gigging around the South of England (Harlow, Ipswich, St Albans, Watford, London, Bedford) Supporting acts such as Scholars, Shadows Chasing Ghosts and Hildamay.

The quintet's awesome vocal Harmonies, diverse guitar riffs, pumping bass lines and technical drum beats alongside their energetic stage presence has earned them the comparison to bands such as Funeral for a Friend, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Deaf Havana and Young Guns.

2011 has been a fantastic year for the boys in Chasing Cadence and 2012 is looking very bright too.

Within minutes of their first jam, they knew they had found something to work with. However, it wasn't until October/November 2010 when Jenny Ollerenshaw was brought in to sing that things really started to move forward. The band began to take shape with the core writing team beginning to form ideas and flesh the songs out. With the addition of Ross Ollerenshaw on drums and Hallam Crafer (Ex-Resistance) on bass, Curse You Damn Kids was complete. Having completed their first EP, Sorta Like an Epiphany, the band are currently writing material for their second EP...

Rock 5-piece MY EXTRAORDINARY have succeeded in establishing themselves as a gem that the North East of England is proud to have spawned.

Formed in the summer of 2008, they have become well known for their clever musicianship and creating massive sing-along choruses delivering a sound that appeals to a wide audience. Their work has allowed them to share a stage with the likes of Elliot Minor, Young Guns, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, My Passion & Yashin amongst many others. My Extraordinary’s debut single `Why Save The World’ has been on rotation on Kerrang TV with the video shared by 3 people a minute on at launch. My Extraordinary released their EP ‘Reality’ in November 2011 to outstanding reviews from major music press.

"A confident and impressive debut, the reality is that My Extraordinary have a bright future ahead of them”

Big Cheese Magazine

"The Hero That Walked Away blends mammoth hooks with classical string arrangements, while the closing melodies of Hours are damn near stunning”

Rock Sound Magazine

The lad’s huge choral hooks and 30 Seconds to Mars-like melodies fuse effortlessly with gentle electronics and rocky dance beats”

This South Yorkshire five piece have quickly gained a large following in the area after a string of successful shows, sharing the stage with bands such as Young Guns, Francesqa, Out Of Sight, Summerlin and FineYoung Firecrackers.

As the band grew in stature, so too did their sound; moving away from the pop-punk roots they had been brought up on to take influence from alternative rock bands such as Futures, Deaf Havana and Brand New.

After a sell out demo CD the band headed into the studio to record their debut single, ‘PINS AND CROSSES’. The forthcoming single captures the sound of a young band growing up in the bleak South Yorkshire area. ‘PINS AND CROSSES’, has managed to blend the catchy hooks from their pop punk roots with more mature musical landscapes inspired by their later influences.

Now in mid 2011, they are gearing up for the release of their debut EP. which is set to put sheffield on the map once more and lead to extensive touring to establish Sea Of Lions as a strong UK band.
